The Gas Exporting Countries Forum (GECF) secretary general Dr Yury Sentyurin  has congratulated Qatar on the tremendous efforts and results achieved by Qatar in winning the Asian Cup. 
In a statement issued yesterday, he said: “This is truly a historic and landmark achievement for the people of Qatar and yet another confirmation of the country’s leadership qualities. 
“Not to mention a highly encouraging accomplishment with the 2022 FIFA World Cup in mind.
“Mabrook Qatar, it is well-deserved and I wish for many more successes to come!”
