His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani and Kuwaiti Sheikh Sabah al-Ahmad al-Jaber al-Sabah held official talks Monday morning at Bayan Palace.
During the meeting, they reviewed bilateral relations and means of boosting them to serve the interests of the two brotherly peoples.
Also, the two sides exchanged views on the most important issues and current regional and international developments.
The meeting was attended by His Highness Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad al-Thani, Personal Representative of the Amir, and members of the delegation accompanying the Amir.
From the Kuwaiti side, Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf al-Ahmad al-Jaber al-Sabah, Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber al-Mubarak al-Hamad al-Sabah and senior officials attended the meeting. 
The Amir later attended a luncheon banquet hosted by the Kuwaiti Amir at Bayan Palace.
From the Kuwait side, the banquet was attended by the Crown Prince, Kuwaiti National Assembly Speaker Marzouq Ali al-Ghanim, Deputy Chief of Kuwait National Guard Sheikh Mishaal al-Ahmad al-Jaber al-Sabah, the Prime Minister, First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Sheikh Nasser Sabah al-Ahmad al-Jaber al-Sabah, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior Sheikh Khalid al-Jarrah al-Sabah, and a number of sheikhs, ministers and senior civil and military officials.
The Amir returned to Doha in the evening. He was seen off at Kuwait International Airport by the Crown Prince, the Kuwaiti National Assembly Speaker, the Prime Minister, the First Deputy Prime Minister and Defence Minister, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, a number Sheikhs from the Kuwait, Qatar's ambassador to Kuwait Bandar bin Mohamed al-Attiyah, Kuwait's ambassador to Qatar Hafeez Mohamed al-Ajmi and members of the Qatari embassy.
In the morning when the Amir arrived in Kuwait City he was welcomed by the Amir of Kuwait.
Also present to welcome the Amir were the Crown Prince, the Speaker of the National Assembly, the Deputy Head of the National Guard Sheikh Mishal al-Ahmad al-Jaber al-Sabah, the Prime Minister, the First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence, the Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister and a number of Sheikhs and Ministers and senior civil and military officials besides the two countries' ambassadors.
