His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani left Wednesday Japanese capital Tokyo after a two-day state visit to Japan, heading to the People's Republic of China.
His Highness the Amir was seen off upon departure from Tokyo International Airport (Haneda) by the Secretary-General of the Japan-Qatar Parliamentary Friendship Association Tadahiko Ito, the Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Japan Hassan bin Mohamed Rafei Al Emadi, the Ambassador of Japan to the State of Qatar Seiichi Otsuka, and members of the Qatari embassy in Tokyo.

Amir Meets the Emperor
His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani earlier on Wednesday met with Emperor Akihito of Japan at the Imperial Palace in the Japanese capital Tokyo.
During the meeting, they reviewed close relations between the two friendly countries as well as a number of issues of mutual interest.
Amir Meets Crown Prince
His Highness the Amir also met Wednesday with the Crown Prince of Japan Naruhito at the residence of the Crown Prince.
During the meeting, they discussed relations of friendship and cooperation between the two countries and means of their development.
