Department of Meteorology warned of strong winds and reduced visibility due to blowing dust until 6pm Tuesday. While some areas will be slightly dusty, parts of the country will experience light scattered rain, the Dept said. And it will be cold by night.
Offshore, it will be slightly dusty and partly cloudy with chance of scattered rain, thundery at times. Thunder rain, strong winds and high sea can be expected by afternoon.
Wind inshore will be southeasterly to southwesterly 05 to 10 knot turns to northwesterly by afternoon 10 to 20 knot, reaching to 26 knot at places after midday.

Offshore, it will be southeasterly 08 to 18/22 knot with thundery, becoming northwesterly 15 to 25 knot by afternoon.

Visibility will be 4 to 08/03 kilometers or less at places at times.

Sea state inshore will be 2 to 4/5 feet at times. Offshore, it will be 3 to 5/7 feet with thundery, rises to 5 to 8 feet by afternoon.
