Qatar Chamber hosted Wednesday a delegation representing the Arab-China Centre for International Partnership to discuss ways in which Qatar could further enhance trade and economic ties with the East Asian country.
Ali Bu Sherbak al-Mansouri, Qatar Chamber assistant director general for Government Relations and Committee Affairs, received the Chinese delegation led by the centre’s executive director, Sunny Zhao.
“The state of Qatar and the People’s Republic of China have excellent cooperation relations covering most fields, given China’s strong economy and industrial and technological progress.
“The chamber attaches great importance to China’s small and medium industries, which opens the door for further cooperation between the two countries, particularly Qatari and Chinese companies,” al-Mansouri said.
Al-Mansouri also gave an overview of the chamber and its role in the Qatari economy, as well as the services it provides to the Qatari business community and the private sector.
For her part, Zhao praised Qatar-China relations at all levels, especially on the level of trade and economic cooperation.
