People in Qatar on Monday experienced another day of low temperatures and similar conditions are expected to prevail Tuesday as well, weather charts show.
While the mercury level dropped to 8C in Mesaieed and Turayna, the ‘apparent temperature’ fell to just 2C in Abu Samra, the Qatar Met department said.
“The ‘feels like’ temperature gets colder as wind speed increases due to the wind chill effect. The lowest apparent temperature was recorded in Abu Samra, reaching 2C,” the department tweeted.
