Qatar participated in the Global Forum for Food and Agriculture, which took place in Berlin (Germany) from January 17 until Saturday, as part of the International Green Week (IGW).
HE the Minister of Municipality and Environment Abdullah bin Abdulaziz bin Turki al-Subaie headed the Qatari delegation and opened the Qatar pavilion at IGW. He also met with German Chancellor Angela Merkel on the sidelines of the forum and discussed ways to bolster bilateral relations in the field of food and agriculture. He also held talks with his counterparts from different countries.
HE al-Subaie attended a ministerial meeting as part of the forum, which focused on finding solutions to issues related to the future of the global food and agricultural industry. IGW Berlin continues until January 27.
