Salmeen Sultan al-Suwaidi proved his enormous potential by winning the Big Tour event in the sixth leg of the Hathab Equestrian Series at the Qatar Equestrian Federation yesterday.
The Qatar Armed Forces excelled on his mount Cantaro 32, the duo combining for a faultless effort in the Table A, One round against the clock with jump off, Art.238.2.2 | 130/145cm class clocking 82.70secs and 34.13secs respectively.
Nasser al-Ghazali on Colibri 19 finished second. He clocked 84.18secs and 35.39secs in the jump-off and with no faults.
Ahmed Mohamed al-Badi, riding Monopoly, was fourth winner of the last round, Saeed Nasser al-Qadi, ended up fourth on horse Daydreamer  EC.
The Open Class competition was once again topped by Jaber Rashid al-Amri, riding Canavaro De Muze (E.T.) with a time of 54.41secs. 
Nasser al-Ghazali on What a Pleasure finished second and Khalid Hamad al-Attiyah, on Viking D, third.
The best seven results are taken into account at the end of the QR 1.3mn series in deciding the overall winners in various categories of showjumping and dressage.
