Nine winners walked away with two Jaguar cars and QR200,000 in cash prizes during the second Shop Qatar raffle draw, held at Hayat Plaza on January 3, the Qatar National Tourism Council has announced.
At the time of the raffle draw, there was also a ‘Wheel of Fortune’ where 15 shoppers won valuable prizes courtesy of the mall's shops.
The five winners of the QR10,000 cash prizes in the second week’s raffle draw are Samar Haddad, Faisal Hussain Belghith, AlAnoud al-Thani, Mohamed Rimgul, and Rashed al-Qadhi. The winner of QR50,000 is Ghalia Ahmad al-Mhamad and the biggest cash prize of QR100,000 went to AlJazi Ahmad Ahdhiri. 
Two fortunate shoppers, Wadha al-Doussari and Abdelkader Said, get to update their ride this year with brand new Jaguar cars.

In addition to the raffle draw, various activities have been designed to entertain all and sundry – from the “young” to the “young at heart” from all nationalities which makes the festival so popular among visitors and residents alike”.
Visitors and residents still have a chance to win in two more draws by shopping or dining at any of the festival’s 13 mall partners or at The Pearl-Qatar. For every QR200 spent at any of the participating retailers or restaurants, shoppers can enter one of the festival’s three remaining raffle draws, with two cars and seven cash prizes ranging from QR10,000 to QR100,000 to be won each week. 
Next week's Shop Qatar raffle draw will be held at 7.30pm on January 10 at Mall of Qatar. 
In addition to the exciting shopping experiences, Pakistani music fans can enjoy a three-hour music marathon on January 9 at the Qatar National Convention Centre. 
The music night will feature throwback tunes by Strings who are celebrating their 30th anniversary, along with modern hits by Coke Studio sensation Ali Sethi and Qurat-ul-Ain Balouch who owes her rise to fame to the Hamsafar soundtrack. Tickets range from QR100 to QR500 and are on sale on QTickets.
