Vodafone Qatar is the official telecommunications partner for this year’s ‘Shop Qatar’ festival – a calendar of events catering to expats and locals seeking the latest lifestyle trends.
Vodafone is proud to be at the forefront of the third edition of the popular event, which will run until January 20, 2019, it was announced in a statement.
The programme of activities is designed to showcase Qatar’s exceptional retail offering while giving tourists and residents a taste of the country’s authentic style.
The ‘Shop Qatar Design District’ will bring the latest fashion and lifestyle trends to Qatar at Doha Exhibition and Convention Centre from January 5 to 12 and will support 75 pop-up shops, 20 international fashion shows, and 12 makeup master-classes.
‘Shop Qatar’ comprises a series of activations designed to bring the latest fashions and trends to the forefront with pop-up shops and international fashion shows. In all, 15 participating malls across Doha will also set up Qatar information kiosks, where visitors can receive educational materials about the country. The news is further proof of Vodafone’s prominence and profile across a wide range of activities and events, highlighting how deeply it is embedded across the community. The business has a highly-visible presence at many of the country’s largest cultural, sporting and entertainment occasions, and ‘Shop Qatar’ is the latest in a long line of major events to benefit from Vodafone Qatar’s support and involvement.
Participation in such events reflects Vodafone Qatar’s commitment to engaging with the community across a number of levels as it seeks to develop the infrastructure, solutions, and services to move Qatar forward, and build the digital ecosystem that enhances and improves people’s lives across the country.
The business has a strong track record of highly successful collaborations and strategic communications partnerships with a number of the country’s most significant and important entities.
Vodafone’s involvement with ‘Shop Qatar’ follows the huge success of the business’ strategic partnerships with Qatar Airways, Supreme Committee for Delivery & Legacy, and the most recent with Katara Hospitality for Qatar National Day where the Vodafone Village made up a significant section of the activities at Katara, including the drone show.
