Qatar’s Rashed claims GCC U-14 title

Qatar’s Rashed Nawaf claimed the title of boys under-14 title in the GCC Tennis Championships being held here.
In the final match, Rashed defeated his compatriot Meshari Nawaf 6-1, 6-1.
In doubles event, Qatar’s Rashed Nawaf and Nasser al-Yafei took the gold medal after beating Meshari Nawaf and Ali al-Saadi in the final.
Khalid al-Khelaifi, Board Member of the Qatar Tennis, Squash and Badminton Federation (QTSBF) and Chairman of National Teams Committee said that the federation is proud of the results achieved by the Qatari players as they won both the singles and doubles event.
