The ‘We Become Stronger’ campaign has honoured Doha Bank for supporting all national projects across Qatar that contribute to economic development, which highlights the “true picture” of progress in the country.
The campaign was held under the patronage of Sheikh Saoud bin Abdullah bin Mohamed al-Thani and under the supervision of the Qatari Government, in partnership with the Media Centre for Youth at the Ministry of Culture and Sports.
The campaign was approved to be the first official congratulation to His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani and the Qatari people on the National Day. The campaign’s book will be the first to include the history of the government sector, the companies operating in the business sector, and the history of the media sector over the past years under various circumstances to prove to the world how Qatar has become stronger throughout history.
Ahmad Ali al-Hanzab, head of Administration and Property Department at Doha Bank, received the appreciation shield on behalf of Doha Bank during a special ceremony.
Al-Hanzab said the ‘We Become Stronger’ Campaign was approved under the slogan ‘We are Proud of our History’ to send a message of congratulations and appreciation from all the institutions of the state, and to highlight the history of the government institutions, including the public, private and media sectors. 
“The campaign’s book also aims to show to the world how Qatar is able to transform the difficult conditions into better opportunities without any political dimension, and to emphasise the identity of the state and its history as it embodies the ideals and hopes on which the state was established and the anniversary of its founding. The book will be delivered as a gift to His Highness the Amir of Qatar and the people of Qatar,” he said.
Doha Bank managing director Sheikh Abdul Rehman bin Mohamed bin Jabor al-Thani said, “National Day is the perfect occasion for us to reminisce about Qatar’s milestones and accomplishments over the years. It is also an excellent opportunity to explore our traditions and cultures and gain a deeper understanding of our history. My heartiest wishes to our respected leaders and to our citizens and expatriates.”
