Nine drivers will battle it out for top honours in the fifth round of the Qatar Manateq Baja series today. The championship is organised by the Qatar Motor and Motorcycle Federation (QMMF).  HE the Minister of Culture and Sports Salah bin Ghanem bin Nasser al-Ali yesterday paid a visit to the QMMF headquarters, where the administrative checks and scrutineering for the vehicles were carried out. Sheikh Hamad al-Thani is currently leading the standings with 57 points, ahead of Mohammed al-Meer, who has 42 points.  Adel Abdulla and Nayef al-Nasr are joint third with 40 points. The seasoned Abdulla, however, will not be in action today.
