Amiri Guard Commander Major General Hazza bin Khalil al-Shahwani met, at Barzan Camp yesterday with a delegation from the Moroccan Royal Guard, on the occasion of his visit to the country to participate in the National Day celebrations.
During the meeting, they discussed a number of issues of common concern within the framework of enhancing co-operation and exchanging military expertise between the two countries.

Parliament team
HE the Chairman of the National Human Rights Committee (NHRC) Dr Ali bin Smaikh al-Marri met the head of the delegation for relations with the Arab Peninsula in European Parliament, Michele Alliot-Marie. They discussed issues of common interest, and working to promote and protect human rights.
The NHRC chairman also met the ambassador of Australia to Qatar, Dr Axel Wabenhorst. They discussed co-operation on issues of common interest and exchange of expertise between the two countries.

agreement with
Hong Kong city
The Ministry of Municipality and Environment and Hong Kong City have signed an agreement on the adoption of health certificates and facilitating the transport of horses between the two sides.
According to a statement by the Ministry of Municipality and Environment, the agreement was signed by head of ministry’s veterinary quarantine section Engineer Hussain al-Yahri and Chief Veterinary Officer in Hong Kong Thomas Sit.
It will facilitate the participation of sports horses of Hong Kong in championships organised by Qatar.
QSC begins
registration for
spring season
Qatar Scientific Club (QSC) announced the start of registration for its new 2018 Spring programme to participate in the winter scientific camp entitled “Learn..Discover.. Create”.
The programme coincides with the activity plan developed by the club in order to improve the talents of participants.
