Baladna, Qatar’s largest dairy farm, collaborated with Qatar Olympic Committee (QOC) to participate in a national flag relay to share pride, unity and inspiration on the National Day.
CEO Peter Weltevreden and group marketing and public relations director Mazen Alsbeti welcomed the QOC team at Baladna farms.
Following their arrival, the team was taken on a small tour of the farms and Baladna park. Soon after, Weltevreden and Alsbeti handed over the national flag to a QOC helicopter for their next destination.
Covering 285km between 6am and 8pm, QOC visited nearly 20 locations including Sealine, Msheireb Properties, Hamad International Airport, Sheraton Park, Museum of Islamic Arts, Katara, Qatar University, Aspire and Qatar Foundation among others.
“Baladna has always been driven by its commitment to serve the country and continues to be a symbol of national pride,” the company said in a statement.
