Sealine Beach, a Murwab Resort, is celebrating Qatar National Day by blending the country’s rich culture and heritage with a variety of entertainment segments designed for the whole family to enjoy.

This year, National Day celebrations at Sealine Beach are taking place today and on December 21. These include special events, games, decoration and commemorative ceremonies, and special room packages and promotions for an all-round family entertainment experience, according to a press statement.

Extending his congratulations and best wishes to His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani, His Highness the Father Amir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa al-Thani and the Qatari society, Nawaf Ali al-Obaidly, general manager at Sealine Beach Resort, said: “Celebrating Qatar’s National Day is a special occasion cherished by every Qatari, and one in which we renew our vows and reaffirm our loyalty to the country and to our wise leadership represented by His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani, as well as relive the glory of the country’s Founder, Sheikh Jassim bin Mohamed bin Thani. As part of the celebrations, the Grass Turf area at Sealine Beach is hosting a variety of fun activities and attractions for young members of the family, including mascots, roaming clowns, a festival parade, traditional food makers as well as face painting, henna and stilt walkers. At the same time, the hotel lobby will continue to serve free tea, coffee and sweets.

To add a National Day flavour to the entertainment programme, the Grass Turf has also hosted a ‘Freedom Wall’, where citizens and residents express their solidarity and cohesion by writing words or symbols that express the spirit of the country's National Day. At the same time, Al-Odaid restaurant celebrates the occasion with a special ceremony to cut a National Day cake made specially for the resort’s guests, as well as international and Qatari food buffets, which continue to offer promotions throughout the celebrations.
