Green Grass Trading and Contracting Company and Yak and Yeti recently organised the grand finale of Voice of Nepal, Nepali edition of international singing reality show, The Voice, at Asian Town Grand Mall, Sanaiya. Originally created by John de Mol, Dutch Producer, the Nepali edition of The Voice was directed by Laxman Poudel and hosted by Sushil Nepal and Osin Sitaula. The gurus of the programme, included Deep Shrestha, Abhaya Subba, Pramod Kharel and Sanup Poudel.

CD Bijaya Adhikari, a contestant from Pokhara City, Nepal, bagged the title of ‘The Voice of Nepal 2018’ along with a cash prize of 2.5 million Nepali Rupees, a car, video album contract and a world tour contract. The reality show was live broadcasted at Kantipur HD TV. The event was attended by over 5,000 Nepali expatriates in Doha. Four finalists along with their coaches also performed at the event.

“I want to pursue my musical career with this prize.” said Adhikari. He thanked Kaski Service Society (KSS), a Doha-based community organisation, for rooting and helping him gather maximum number of online votes.
