His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani yesterday met several members of the US Congress, on the sidelines of the 2018 Doha Forum, at Sheraton Hotel. The Amir met US Democrat Representative for Pennsylvania’s 13th congressional district Brendan Boyle, member of the Foreign Affairs Committee for the 7th District of Pennsylvania, member of the US House of Representatives for the 7th district of Indiana Andre Carson, member of the US House of Representatives from Michigan’s 5th district Dan Kildee, member of the US House of Representatives from New Jersey’s 1st district Donald Norcross, member of the US House of Representatives from Connecticut’s 4th district Jim Himes, member of House Committee on Energy and Tom Lantos Human Rights Commission and the US Representative for California’s 29th congressional district. During the meeting, they reviewed the strategic relations of co-operation between Qatar and the United States and their development, and exchanged of views on a number of issues of mutual interest.
