Hodeidah truce ‘an
important step’
Qatar has welcomed the agreement by Yemen’s warring parties on the ceasefire in the city of Hodeidah calling it an important step towards ending the absurd war, in which the brotherly Yemeni people suffering, and praised the active role played by UN envoy Martin Griffith. In a statement yesterday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed the hope that the parties of the Yemeni crisis would reach understandings on the outstanding issues in the next round of consultations.
