Mall of Qatar has prepared ‘dazzling and captivating’ family entertainment until Qatar National Day on December 18. The festive programme includes daily Ardha shows at the Ooredoo stage, a henna booth at West Gate 2 and a traditional kids area for families to enjoy an array of activities at East Gate 1.
On December 13, at 7.30pm the Ooredoo stage will play host to 10 brass musicians from Qatar Philharmonic Orchestra with an exceptional line-up of beloved melodies. The musicians will also give a close-up performance at 9pm in the mall’s Luxury Court.
On National Day at 3pm and 5pm a theatrical performance will portray the country’s past, present and future, featuring 50 young talents from around Qatar.
In addition, creative artworks from schools are displayed throughout Mall of Qatar as part the mall’s very own initiative What Qatar means to you. The project gave the opportunity for schools to showcase their students’ creativity and also to win cash prizes of up to QR5,000.
“Qatar National Day is the occasion on which we convey our gratitude to the country and the nation. As the nation’s mall, we are proud to celebrate this day with our community, partners and visitors who have inspired the continued solidarity, growth and prosperity of Qatar,” said Stuart Elder, CEO, Mall of Qatar.
