HE the Prime Minister and Interior Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa al-Thani on Sunday opened the activities of the seventh edition of Euromoney Conferences at St. Regis Doha Hotel.
The current edition held under the theme ‘New Directions, New Opportunities’ is organized in cooperation with Qatar Central Bank. A number of Qatari Senior officials are partaking in the conference, which will focus on Qatar’s post siege strategy and its development as a sustainable economy. It will also discuss short and long term plans with regard to FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, in terms of developments and innovations have been achieved and future plans for the coming five years.
In addition to discussing the strategic issues in Qatar, a number of topics will be discussed during the conference, focusing on the economy in Qatar, new opportunities for growth, development in the banking sector, international private investment prospects in the local market and finally the ‘Block Qin’ finance technique and crypto-currencies.
The conference opening ceremony was attended by a line-up of Qatari senior government officials and financiers as well as guests of Qatar. (QNA)
