Ashghal has announced the partial opening of Al Manaseer Intersection to traffic tomorrow after the removal of the temporary roundabout.
Ashghal recently converted the intersection into a temporary signal-controlled roundabout to enable expansion works on Al Manaseer Intersection to accommodate the current and future traffic through constructing additional lanes.
Once fully completed, the intersection will have four main lanes, including three lanes to turn left, and one dedicated U-turn lane on Al Forousiya Street. This is in addition to constructing a new surface water network and other infrastructure utilities as part of Al Furousiya Street Development Project.
Ashghal will install road signs advising motorists of the diversion. The works authority has requested road users to abide by the speed limit, and follow the road signs to ensure safety.
