The Public Works Authority (Ashghal) has announced a permanent change to Dukhan South service road access and adjacent areas, which will be implemented tomorrow to allow for the completion of Orbital Road construction works at Umm Al Juwashin Interchange.
The proposed change has been designed in co-ordination with the General Directorate of Traffic and will remain in place permanently.
The new access to Dukhan South Service Road and adjacent areas will be located approximately 2km prior to reaching Umm Al Afaei Interchange instead of the existing at Al Jahhaniya Interchange, Ashghal has said in a statement.
As shown on the attached map, road users travelling southbound on Dukhan Road will be required to exit 2km before Umm Al Afaei Interchange onto the South service road to access Umm Al Afaei south-west ramp connecting Dukhan Road to Salwa Road, Umm Al Juwashin exit loops connecting Dukhan Road to Lusail and Salwa Road, Amiri Guard Compound and Al Jahhaniya Interchange to reach Mall of Qatar, Al Rufaa Street and Celebration Complex.
