Qatar Chamber (QC) has praised the state’s support to national pharmaceutical factories by giving importance to such products manufactured in the country as part of government procurement.
This comes in order to support national products and maintain the state’s medical security.
The observations came during a meeting held by the Health Committee of QC to discuss a number of issues related to the competence of the committee and encourage the private sector to make more efforts in the field of investments related to the country’s health sector.
Ebtahaj al-Ahmadi, board member and chairperson of the committee, said the public and private sectors share a desire to provide distinguished services to the health sector in Qatar. This is done to reflect the distinguished position the country occupies regionally and globally by simplifying and facilitating procedures and removing obstacles that hamper the implementation of state policies and strategic plans prepared by the Ministry of Public Health .
She stressed the importance of joint work between the Ministry of Public Health and Qatar Chamber to participate in decision-making and solve problems and obstacles to serve the objectives of Qatar and its development plans. –QNA
