The largest open-air amusement park in Qatar, Entertainment World Village, is getting ready to reopen its doors to public soon, it has been announced.
This comes following a successful couple of seasons that ran from April 13 to May 12 and from June 14 until July 7 for the second season, according to a statement.
“This season, people of Qatar and visitors will be able to experience the latest international thrill rides brought from Europe to entertain both kids and adults, including Drop Tower, Roller Coaster, G-Force and a Giant Ferris Wheel, to name a few, in addition to various activities areas and zones such as a Paintball arena, Dinosaur Park and Circus tent with a breathtaking acts and performances performed by world’s most famous artistes,” the statement notes.
Additionally, Entertainment World Village will host the “largest shopping exhibition” in Qatar, with a variety of retail shops from 25 different countries, including Qatar, Kuwait, Oman, Yemen, Jordan, Lebanon, Syria, Turkey, India, Pakistan, Malaysia, China, Thailand, Bangladesh, Philippines, Iran, Italy, the US and European and African countries, showcased in 11 themed pavilions. It will provide a wide range of choices in fashion, beauty, jewellery, souvenirs, perfumes, carpets, home accessories, consumables and others.
Moreover, Entertainment World Village will introduce international award-winning stage shows performed by troops from Russia, the US and Spain, in addition to roaming acts, skill games and other recreational activities such as doughnut boats where food is served in the sea. 
In between rides and shows, visitors can enjoy various culinary offerings from food and beverages booths that include cafes, fast-food eateries and casual dining outlets, all with a sea view, not to forget the confectionary shacks serving all kinds of popular snacks, placed throughout the amusement park to complement visitors with a wide range of snacks and confectioneries. 
“The amusement park promises to be the country’s leading entertainment destination for those seeking to spend memorable fun times and daring to try some thrilling activities,” the statement adds.
Entertainment World Village is located at Al Qutaifiya beach, between Diplomatic Club and The Pearl-Qatar, facing the sea.
