The website of the Advisory Council was launched yesterday, as part of the Council’s efforts to develop its communication channels with the citizens.
The website will have in formation about the the work carried out by the Council, its terms of reference and role.
The website includes the full recordings of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani’s speeches delivered during the opening sessions of the Advisory Council. It also includes several tabs on the history of the Advisory Council and specialised committees, as well as news reports and press releases related to its activities. The inauguration of the website in the Arabic and English languages came under the directives of HE the Speaker of the Advisory Council Ahmed bin Abdullah bin Zaid al-Mahmoud. The website can be accessed on the address: www.Shura.qa Citizens can submit their suggestions and comments directly through the special link on the website.
