His Highness the Deputy Amir Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad al-Thani, Chairman of Qatar Petroleum (QP), presided over the company's board of directors meeting held at the Amiri Diwan on Thursday.
The board reviewed QP's workflow, future growth strategy and approved the 2019 budget. During the meeting, His Highness the Deputy Amir gave directions to name the QP district buildings in West Bay as 'Abdullah bin Hamad al-Attiyah District' in recognition of the former Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Energy and Industry's role and contribution to the development of the energy sector in Qatar.
