QTSBF and Qatar Rail to organise squash, tennis events

The Qatar Tennis, Squash and Badminton (QTSBF) and Qatar Railways Company have officially agreed to organise two local tournaments.
As per the new agreement, Qatar Rail will sponsor a local week-long tennis tournament and a team squash league that will last 10 weeks.
QTSBF Secretary General Tariq Zainal said in a press conference attended by Ajlan Eid al-Enazi, Chief of Strategy and Business Development Division at Qatar Rail:  “It is our pleasure to launch a new chapter of co-operation between the federation Qatar Rail Company by organising two local tournaments in squash and tennis.”
Zainal stressed that the co-operation reflects the desire of the two organisations to develop tennis and squash among communities.
 “Qatar Rail’s support to these two local events comes as a part of the social responsibility of the company and its contribution to the development of the community,” he added.
Al-Enazi added: “Qatar Rail is keen to be an active partner in developing the community and supporting Qatari sports, especially among young people. The company also aims to encourage people to practice physical activities and promoting a culture of sports.
“We are looking forward to working with the federation to support Qatari players and help them develop their skills.”
