The Indian Business & Professionals Council (IBPC) organised a “first-of-its-kind” management master class for its members, in association with HEC Paris in Qatar, on “sound corporate strategising as a success factor”.
“HEC Paris, with its highly regarded Executive MBA and other management courses, has always been at the top of business schools globally,” said Nishad Azeem, an alumnus of the institute, while introducing the master class.
IBPC is the apex body that brings together the Indian business and professional community in Qatar, and functions under the aegis of the Indian embassy in Qatar.
The short management class was attended by the members of IBPC, who are working in different professional and management positions in the government/semi-government and private sectors in Qatar.
“In this world of a turbulent business environment, sound and dynamic corporate strategising is the critical success factor for any corporate to perform well and surge forward,” said Prof Dr Wolfgang Amann from HEC Paris.
The event was “interactive, informative and highly rewarding” with members sharing their experience with the speaker, IBPC said in a statement.
IBPC general secretary Sumit Malhotra welcomed the gathering and Sujata Zinzuwadia co-ordinated the event.
“IBPC and HEC Paris look forward to similar events in the future, along with other calendar events of IBPC,” said K M Varghese, president of IBPC.
