Strong winds are expected today along with low visibility in some places at times, the Qatar Met department has said. 
Windy conditions, as well as high seas, have also been forecast in offshore areas.
The wind (northwesterly) speed may go up to 35 knots offshore and 28 knots inshore occasionally today, with the sea level rising to 12ft.
The detailed forecast also says moderate daytime temperatures are likely today along with scattered clouds and slight dust in some areas at times, followed by mild conditions by night. Visibility may drop to 3km or less at times.
The minimum and maximum temperatures expected in the country today are 21C in Abu Samra and Al Khor and 30C in Doha, respectively.
