The Arab-European youth (50-50) training course, organised by the Department of Youth Affairs at the Ministry of Culture and Sports in partnership with the Arab League and the Youth Council of Europe, will begin today. The four-day programme aims at promoting youth participation and gender equality, according to a statement issued yesterday. It will be attended by 40 young people, including youth representing 11 Arab countries namely; Algeria, Somalia, Iraq, Morocco, Yemen, Comoros, Djibouti, Oman, Palestine, Lebanon, Libya and Qatar. A group of youth from Portugal, Macedonia, Montenegro, France, Norway, Sweden, Italy, Estonia, Czech Republic, Malta, Russia, Latvia, Greece and Germany are also participating.
