HE the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Sultan bin Saad al-Muraikhi met the Undersecretary General for Partnerships at the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies, Dr Jemilah Mahmood, who’s currently visiting Qatar. During the meeting they reviewed issues of common interest.

The Minister of International Affairs and Co-operation of Botswana Unity Dow yesterday received a copy of the credentials of Abdullah Hussein al-Jaber as Qatar’s non-resident ambassador to Botswana.
Qatar-US troops conclude joint exercise
The Armed Forces concluded a joint exercise between the Qatar’s Amiri Land Forces and US forces – Eastern Action 19 – under the patronage and presence of HE the Chief of Staff of the Qatar Armed Forces, Lieutenant-General (Pilot) Ghanem bin Shaheen al-Ghanem. The year-long exercise aimed at enhancing the combat readiness of the ground forces and to meet the challenges with high tactical speed. The exercise included training in the US, simulators, military decision-making
process, and counterattack implementation.
