Techno Blue, the authorised distributor of Samsung, has opened its 12th retail showroom at Tawar Mall, one of the country’s premier shopping destinations located in the Duhail area.
The opening was attended by  Techno Blue chairman Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad al-Thani, Ashraf Abu Issa and Nabil Abu Issa of Abuissa Holding and managing director of Techno Blue R Srinivasan, among others
The state-of the-art Techno Blue showroom at Tawar Mall features the latest in televisions, home appliances, mobiles, IT products, small domestic appliances, etc. The company officials said at the opening that the newly opened outlet is designed to maximise customer satisfaction as people can touch and feel a product before arriving at a
decision.
“The opening of the new showroom in a fast-growing upmarket business destination like Tawar Mall will help both Samsung and Techno Blue enhance their reach and visibility in the local market,” said Andrew Shin of Samsung (Qatar).
Shin said Samsung’s market in the country as well as the Gulf region has grown steadily in the last few years and the company hopes to continue its good growth in the coming days
as well.
Techno Blue officials said the presence of experienced multilingual sales personnel at its showrooms is of great help to customers. The sales team can offer expert pre-sales consulting before purchasing decisions are made by customers and the products sold in an outlet are complemented by good after-sales service provided directly by Techno Blue, a senior official added.
Commenting on the strategy of Techno Blue, (which is now a wholly owned subsidiary of HBK Holding), its chairman Sheikh Nasser said: “In a highly competitive and crowded market where the electronics business has become a commodity, Techno Blue stores strive to offer customers products and services that are not matched by other retailers.”
Sheikh Nasser also stressed that Qatar’s economy was poised for strong growth in the coming years and investment in good retail locations would drive the business of premium products in the years to come. HBK Holding would continuously invest in expanding the retail network, service operations and sales
infrastructure, he noted.
Later, Shin said Samsung would launch new televisions and appliances with “ground-breaking technologies” next year to maintain its global leader position in the television segment and also to increase market share in the premium segment in
Qatar.
Other Techno Blue retail outlets include those at The Center, Barwa Village, Fereej Al Nasr, Al Rayyan, The Mall, The Pearl-Qatar and Al Hitmi.
