It is being made to enable the installation of gantries of the Orbital Road, according to an Ashghal communique.
During the diversion, which is designed in co-ordination with the General Directorate of Traffic, road users will be required to follow the below direction as shown in the attached map.
Road users heading towards Mesaieed on the Orbital Road southbound carriageway will exit the Orbital at Khuwaiteem Interchange onto Mesaieed Road 1; continue straight on Mesaieed Road 1 until they reach Hamad Port Interchange.
At Hamad Port Interchange they can exit onto Mesaieed Road and continue straight into Mesaieed.
A temporary diversion will be in place on the Orbital Road southbound carriageway towards Mesaieed between Khuwaiteem Interchange and Sealine Interchange for 3 days starting from November 12 to 15.
