Qatar Fuel (Woqod) opened yesterday the Al Froosh petrol station and one mobile station in Fereej Al Soudan, raising its network of various petrol stations to 74.
Woqod CEO Saad Rashid al-Muhannadi said: “We are pleased to open a new fixed petrol station in Al Froosh. Woqod aspires to expand its petrol station network in the country to meet the rising demand for petroleum products and achieve the goal of providing customers with access to best-in-class products and services at their convenience and comfort.
“Woqod has recently accelerated the process for the construction of new petrol stations to meet the fuel and energy needs of the country. The Woqod team would like to extend gratitude to the all governmental and private entities that contributed and are contributing to the completion of this project.” 
Al Froosh is spread over a 1,500sq m area and has three lanes with six dispensers that will serve Al Froosh and its neighbourhood.
He added that Woqod is currently overseeing the implementation of 23 new petrol stations, a large number of which are expected to be operational during the current year, and noted that there are nine stations in the bidding phase and 14 stations in the design phase.
Al-Muhannadi said Woqod, in furtherance of customer’s satisfaction, opened one mobile station in Fereej Al Soudan for gasoline to reduce the vehicles congestion as many private 
stations closed recently.
He said, “As part of its strategic expansion plan, Woqod is targeting the achievement of a total of 130 fuel stations by the end of 2020.”
The new petrol station offer round-the-clock services to residents, and includes Sidra convenience store, manual car wash, oil change and tyre repair, sale of LPG cylinders, in addition to the sale of gasoline and diesel products for light vehicles.

Fuel prices for November

Qatar Petroleum (QP) yesterday announced petrol and diesel prices for November. While the 91-octane Premium gasoline will cost QR2.05 a litre, the price of 95-octane Super gasoline will be QR2.10 per litre, according to QP. Diesel will cost QR2.05 a litre this month. All prices remain unchanged from October.
