The registration for 2019 Ooredoo Doha Marathon has been opened, Ooredoo announced at a press conference.
The seventh annual Ooredoo Marathon will take place on Friday, January 11, 2019 in Doha, with the exact route to be announced in the coming weeks. 
Ooredoo began the marathon event to inspire Qatar’s communities to get fit and raise money for a good cause.
The registration fees for the event will depend on the selected course and the age of the participant, and 100 percent of the same will be donated to charity.
Ooredoo Qatar COO Yousuf Abdulla al-Kubaisi said, “I’m delighted to announce that registration is now open for the 2019 Ooredoo Marathon. This event promises to be our most diverse ever, as we are inviting all of Qatar’s communities to take part, as well as runners from around the world.”
The 2019 edition of the marathon will feature courses for runners of all abilities, including a 10km run, half-marathon, full marathon, 5km run and a special children’s 1km fun run. 
Prizes will be awarded to the best runners in a range of categories, based on age and gender.
