Weather inshore tonight until 6am on Thursday will be partly cloudy to cloudy with chance of scattered rain at places by the end of the period, the Department of Meteorology said in its daily weather report. 
Offshore, it will be scattered clouds, mild by night, the report added, warning of thundery rain, strong wind and high sea.
Wind inshore will be northwesterly at a speed of 5 to 15 knots.
Offshore, it will be mainly northwesterly to northeasterly at a speed of 8 to 18 knots surging to 30 knots at places by end of the period.
Visibility will be 4 to 8 kilometers.
Sea state inshore will be 1 to 3 feet surging to 5 feet at places at times. Offshore, it will be 3 to 5 feet surging to 12 feet at places by end of the period.
