The Security Systems Department director Lt Col Jassem al Sayed and Axis regional manager for Middle East and Africa Philippe Kubinga were the signatories.
Axis communications had partnership with the Security Systems Department in many projects, especially camera projects and the latest agreement is a continuation of co-operation in the field of training and development for the systems, said Lt Col al Sayed.
"We have received a special award and recognition from the company for the effort exerted in the project "Talau" which plays an important role in the maintenance of security and safety," he added.
The Axis official said they have signed the agreement with the MoI with the aim of strengthening the existing co-operation with the Security Systems Department in training and meeting its requirements.

The Security Systems Department of the Ministry of Interior (MoI) Tuesday signed a co-operation agreement with Swedish company Axis, a leading manufacturer of high-quality surveillance cameras.
