Prince Harry and his wife Meghan have left Australia and are headed for Wellington in New Zealand, as their 16-day overseas tour comes to an end.
The duke and duchess of Sussex will be in New Zealand for four days, and will spend time visiting Wellington, the Abel Tasman National Park, Auckland and Rotorua.
They will leave New Zealand and return home to Britain on November 1.
During their tour, the couple attended both the opening and the closing ceremonies of the Invictus Games for injured and disabled veterans in Sydney.
Other stops on their tour were Fiji and Tonga, where they met the locals and also spent some time relaxing on the idyllic Pacific islands.
The couple’s first international tour since their wedding in May got off to an exciting start as they announced they were expecting their first child in spring.
Yesterday at the Invictus Games in Sydney, Harry and Meghan shunned the VIP section to sit with fans watching the final events before the closing ceremony later in the evening.
The royal couple were later joined by retired football star David Beckham and his wife Victoria to cheer on as the US took on the Netherlands in the wheelchair basketball final.
Wearing red poppy pins, the couple presented medals to the winning US team before a sold out stadium.
On Friday evening, Prince Harry raised environmental concerns at the Australian Geographic Society Awards, saying that it was heartbreaking to see Australia’s natural treasures being changed forever by global warming.
