Nepal’s President Bidya Devi Bhandari will be paying an official visit to Qatar from Monday until November 1, it has been announced.
The president is expected to hold official meetings in Qatar and also address the business community on the theme of ‘Business and Investment Opportunities in Nepal’ on October 30.
During the visit, Bhandari will visit Nepal’s embassy in Doha and also meet with members of the Nepali community. Nepal’s ambassador to Qatar Ramesh Prasad Koirala will host a reception/dinner in honour of president Monday.
The president will be accompanied by Nepal’s Minister for Foreign Affairs Pradeep Kumar Gyawali, Foreign Secretary Shanker Das Bairagi and other high-level officials from the office of the President and Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
A business delegation will also accompany the president on her visit.
The president will return home on November 1.
