The Greek embassy in Qatar and VFS Global, a leading outsourcing and technology services specialist for diplomatic missions worldwide, have opened the Greek Visa Application Centre in Doha to process visa application submissions from citizens and residents of Qatar.
A joint statement from the Greek embassy and VFS Global said the new centre would provide “seamless visa application and biometric enrolment services to Schengen visa applicants, ensuring enhanced convenience and professional efficiency”.
Inaugurating the Greek Visa Application Centre, Greek ambassador Constantinos Orphanides said: “The opening of the centre is a milestone as it provides a value-added channel for visa applicants travelling to Greece from Qatar. It is also a significant development with Qatar being a very important source country for travellers visiting Greece. We hope that the expertise of VFS Global in handling visa applications will lead to more streamlined application process for the benefit of the people aiming to visit our country.”
VFS Global operates and manages visa application centres for Greece in 21 countries across the world, including 10 in the Middle East and North Africa region. 
The VFS Global Visa Application Centre for Greece in Doha is located at Level 1, Abdul Jaleel Business Centre, Airport Road (Al Matar Street), Doha.
