Toni Sanabria and Giovani Lo Celso’s goals sent the Spanish side top of the table, one point clear ahead of their Italian opponents who grabbed a late consolation through Patrick Cutrone, while Olympiakos are third after a 2-0 win at Dudelange.
Elsewhere Danny Welbeck’s powerful drive earned Arsenal victory in the Portuguese capital, with their 11th consecutive victory sending them top of Group E above Sporting.
The Gunners have not enjoyed such a long winning streak for 11 years, while Sporting have only lost one other match at home in the last two years. Vorskla are third after a 1-0 win at Qarabag.
FC Zurich edged Bayer Leverkusen 3-2 to lead Group A ahead of the Germans, while AEK Larnaca tied 1-1 with Ludogorets Razgrad.
Salzburg thrashed Rosenborg 3-0 to go top of Group B while RB Leipzig are second after beating Celtic 2-0.
Zenit St Petersburg top Group C after coming from behind to beat Bordeaux 2-1, while Slavia Prague are second after a 1-0 win at FC Copenhagen.
Group D is headed by Dinamo Zagreb after their 2-1 win at Spartak Trnava, while Fenerbahce are second after a 2-2 draw at Anderlecht.
