ACS Doha International School will have its new state-of-art-campus in the northern Doha town of Al Kheesa ready by August 2020, it was announced yesterday at a ceremony.
ACS International School chief executive Tim Cagney and Al Jaber Group chairman Mohamed Sultan al-Jaber signed a partnership agreement in this connection in the presence of British ambassador Ajay Sharma.
The new campus for up to 2,470 students is to be designed and built by internationally renowned architects Broadway Malyan on a 60,000sq m site.
Cagney said: “ACS Doha is deeply dedicated to creating a legacy in Qatar. After more than half a century in education in the UK and Qatar, the new campus will enhance our strong international reputation, ensuring that we continue to attract the very best teachers and educational leaders from around the world.”
Head of School at ACS Doha, Robert Cody said “Our fantastic new campus will ensure that we can best prepare students in Doha for unrivalled academic success.”
The new campus will offer International Baccalaureate Primary, Middle Years, Diploma and US High School Diploma programmes.
The school authorities added the new campus will also provide an opportunity for ACS Doha to serve the educational needs of neighbourhoods including Lusail, the Pearl and Um Salal.
