Salon du Cheval Organising Committee chairman Prince Abdellah Alaoui appreciated the significant Qatari impact on the ongoing edition of the equestrian event in a meeting with Qatar Racing and Equestrian Club (QREC) general manager Nasser bin Sherida al-Kaabi.
Al-Kaabi met Prince Abdellah on the sidelines of the 11th edition of the Salon in El Jadida, Morocco. QREC is the Platinum Sponsor of the 2018 edition of the Salon.
During the meeting, mementos were exchanged and Prince Abdellah lauded Qatar’s role through the platinum sponsorship this year and keenness to have a stand representing Qatar’s equestrian sport.
“The meeting was fruitful and it reflected the nature of the relations between Qatar and Morocco in general and in various fields,” al-Kaabi said. “In fact, Prince Abdellah Alaoui expressed his appreciation of the Qatari role and hoped for more co-operation in future.”
He said the two sides were keen to collaborate to enhance the standing of the sport in both the countries with national and international events.
“Given these firm relations and desire for mutual success, QREC’s participation in the Salon will certainly be on a larger scale in the coming years,” he said.
