The National Human Rights Committee’s (NHRC) officials yesterday discussed with a delegation of members of the US Congress issues of common interest, and ways of enhancing bilateral co-operation in the field of human rights. During the meeting, NHRC Assistant Secretary-General Sultan al-Jamali briefed the US delegation on the tasks of the
committee and efforts in the field of protection and promotion of human rights locally, regionally and internationally.
