As part of a collaboration with Best Buddies Qatar, Qatar Museums (QM) is hosting three free workshops for children with special needs at CassArt at the Fire Station.
The first workshop was hosted on October 10, while the ensuing ones will take place on October 17 and 24, with each workshop starting at 10.30am and lasting up to 45 minutes.
Best Buddies Qatar will be arranging for a number of students from the local area to attend, including the Step by Step Centre, Phoenix Private School Doha, Al Huda Primary School for Girls and Fatma Al Zahra Preparatory School for Girls.
Best Buddies Qatar was founded in 2007 with the support of Her Highness Sheikha Moza bint Nasser, under the umbrella of the Shafallah Centre.
There are currently four high schools and four college chapters in the capital city of Doha.
Under the guidance of Qatar Museums’ chairperson, HE Sheikha Al Mayassa bint Hamad bin Khalifa al-Thani, the Fire Station has become the hub for Doha’s flourishing art scene in recent years.
