Inspire Me (IM) coaching and consultancy, recently held its first charitable event ‘#InspireMeThinkPink’ to honour Breast Cancer Awareness Month at La Cantine Healthy Bistro powered by Akly. Margarita Zuniga, speaking at the event highlighted the importance of the month and urged the audience to be screened from as young as twenty years at one of the many screening booths set up by Qatar Primary Health Care and Hamad Hospital.
The event also featured an auction of the works of Mala Waseem, a local artist. Mala donated the proceeds from the auction to Qatar Cancer Society (QCS). The event included a Zumba fitness session by Filipino Fitness and Health, positivity mood board, interactive session by QCS and IM’s personal development workshop.
Elizabeth Wood, Founder and Head Coach of IM, said, “This event could not have been possible without every single partner and volunteer coming together to make it happen. They gave their time, talent, money and resources to this cause, a disease that takes so many lives. Prevention is truly better than a cure and after being enlightened by learning something new today, Inspire Me commits to more collaborations with QCS in the future.”
