Mwani Qatar chief executive Captain Abdulla al-Khanji inaugurated yesterday the Mwani Qatar facility at KidzMondo Doha, at a ceremony at the kid-sized city at Mall of Qatar attended by a number of the company’s senior officials.
The partnership between Mwani Qatar and KidzMondo Doha aims to support educational efforts in Qatar and contribute to build future generations by offering them education in various fields related to maritime works.
Within a fully branded and realistic Mwani Qatar establishment, children will have the opportunity to simulate, experience, and learn the work scope of a shipping captain, customs officer and a crane operator during educational, fun and interactive role-play activities.
Al-Khanji said that the Mwani Qatar facility at KidzMondo Doha will help children to develop and become familiar with the real jobs in the maritime industry.
Mwani Qatar operates under the guidance and supervision of the Ministry of Transport and Communications, and is responsible for Hamad Port and Al Ruwais Port, which are commercial ports, as well as the development of Doha Port into a cruise port.
The company is strongly positioned to develop Qatar’s maritime sector, as well as a regional shipping hub while playing a pivotal role in contributing to the country’s touristic influx.
