Global consulting major PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) has appointed Bassam Hajhamad as the new country senior partner in Qatar. 
He will be leading a large team of advisers, who are committed to delivering strategy-to-execution professional services to key clients in Qatar. He brings with him more than 20 years of experience in management consulting, digital and business transformation, and private equity, having served clients across the Middle East, North America and Africa.
His areas of expertise include corporate strategy and strategy-based transformation, sector policy and development, digital innovation, and investment management. Bassam has worked closely with senior leaders in Middle East and North African governments and large private businesses on solving complex strategic problems and leading large-scale transformations.
Bassam is currently an active member of the World’s Economic Forum’s Digital Policy and Governance Council. He holds a Master’s of Science from the University of Detroit and an MBA from MIT Sloan School of Management.
