The Private Engineering Office (PEO) on Tuesday handed over a hospital and a health center in Mesaieed Industrial City to Hamad Medical Corporation, in coordination with the Ministry of Public Health.

Hamad Medical Corporation will equip the two health facilities to serve the workers in the southern part of the country.

The hospital is part of three hospitals implemented by the Private Engineering Office to enhance the health sector and serve the health plan in the state. The hospitals also include Hazm Mebaireek General Hospital (HMGH) in the Industrial Area hospital, which the PEO handed over to Hamad Medical Corporation in November 2016, and Ras Laffan Hospital delivered in 2017.
